The exhibition ” Right beside the city’s heartbeat. The History of St. Adalbert’s Church” is the fourth display organized by the Archaeological Museum of Kraków, showcased in the underground of St. Adalbert’s Church on the Main Market Square. This current exhibition harmonizes with the sacred function of the building and reflects the church’s cultural and spiritual significance in the Middle Ages.
The displayed artifacts, informational panels, and visualizations provide insight into the rich history of the building as well as the daily spiritual and cultural life of Krakow’s residents. These exhibits help us better understand the important role St. Adalbert’s Church played, and continues to play, in the life of the city.
The project has been funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Cultural Promotion Fund, as well as by the own funds of the Archaeological Museum of Krakow, operating under the auspices of the Cultural Institution of the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region.
We warmly invite you to visit this unique exhibition and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of Kraków.
