The oldest vessels created by a man – a pottery workshop
The workshop teaches the secrets of prehistoric pottery. During the workshop, participants will make their own clay vessel by hand.

Prehistoric Menagerie
At the permanent exhibition „Prehistory and Earl Middle Ages of Lesser Poland” participants will look at figures of prehistoric animals that used to inhabit areas of Lesser Poland and Kraków. During the practical part of the workshop, the participants will make clay figurines of chosen animals.

Healing practices in Ancient Egypt
During the workshop, participants will learn more about the geographical location of Egypt, what kinds of illnesses troubled Egyptians, what cures were used by the ancient doctors and how did the Egyptians mummified their dead. In the next part of the workshop, the participants will discover the artefacts exhibited as a part of the permanent exhibition “The Gods of Ancient Egypt”. The emphasis will be placed on mummies presented at the exhibition – their cause of death and possible illnesses they’ve endured during their lifetime.
The practical part of the workshop will consist of creating a pouch steeped in essential oils and a medicinal cream.

Ancient Egypt – the land of mummies
This workshops focuses on mummification. During the tour of the exhibition “Gods of Ancient Egypt”
During the practical part of the workshop, participants will replicate the process or mummification and create their own mummy and a sarcophagus.
