These are reduced prices, please be prepared to show your ID card.
Please book at least three weeks in advance due to the fact that the museum must organise a translator of the sign language.
There is no induction loop available at the museum.

Due to dim lighting at the exhibition we suggest watching a presentation about the exhibition beforehand and then touring the it individually. The guide will answer all questions at the end of the visit.

Prehistoric Menagerie
At the permanent exhibition „Prehistory and Earl Middle Ages of Lesser Poland” participants will look at figures of prehistoric animals that used to inhabit areas of Lesser Poland and Kraków. During the practical part of the workshop, the participants will make clay figurines of chosen animals.

Mummies – Time Travellers
This workshops focuses on mummification. During the tour of the exhibition “Gods of Ancient Egypt” the guide will explain why did the Ancient Egyptians mummified their dead and how they did it.
During the practical part of the workshop, participants will replicate the process or mummification and create their own mummy and a sarcophagus.

Meeting our ancestors
During this workshop, the participants will learn about everyday life of prehistoric inhabitants of Małopolska. During the practical part of the workshop, the participants will put together a puzzle depicting scenes from the lives of Palaeolithic hunters and Neolithic farmers.

Egyptian Design
This workshop is devoted to the art of Ancient Egypt. After touring the exhibtion “Gods of Ancient Egypt”, the participants will paint designs onto linen bags with special paint.
